DATA
The first step of our design process is to gather data. The way we are approaching this is by interviewing users to gather data on their needs. In our case, we looked for Real estate agents in the high-end real estate business. We fist developed an interview plan and then started interviewing Real Estate agents in High-End Real Estate.
Interview plan
Our interview process was meticulously crafted to foster deep, insightful conversations with real estate agents. Together, we meticulously planned a set of questions designed to unlock valuable insights. Simultaneously, we began sourcing contacts within the real estate agent community, eager to engage in meaningful dialogue. As responses trickled in, we eagerly explained the purpose of our endeavor and sought meetings with these professionals. Though initially intending to conduct interviews in pairs for efficient note-taking, our enthusiasm led most of us to join in all interviews, ensuring no detail escaped our attention.
Despite a few setbacks with unresponsive agents, our persistence paid off as we secured the necessary interviews. After every discussion, we got together again to carefully analyze and summarize all the valuable insights gained. This collaborative approach ensured that every encounter contributed to our collective understanding, guiding our journey toward impactful insights and informed decisions for our project.
People portraits:
In our endeavor to establish a more coherent and comprehensible database for the individuals we interviewed, we opted to develop what we term as "people portraits." These portraits afford us the capacity to segregate insights and knowledge attributed to each individual distinctly. By crafting these portraits, we are able to encapsulate the unique perspectives, experiences, and expertise of every interviewee in a structured manner. This approach not only facilitates easier access to specific information but also enables us to delve deeper into the nuances of each participant's contributions and insights. Ultimately, these people portraits serve as invaluable tools in our quest for a more organized and insightful analysis of our interview data, allowing us to extract meaningful conclusions and observations with greater clarity and efficiency.
